La Llau de Fadia is a small basin situated south of Gerri, on the right-hand bank of the river.
Episodes of heavy rain produce avenues in the lower part, where there were also salt beds. To avoid the floods, this gully was canalised.
The constructions in the Llau included walls to divert the current and channels to take the water to the river.
The canal walls were also used to move around the salt works.
The salt beds in this sector were abandoned 25 years ago, but the structures of the pools, salt beds and channels can still be recognised.
