Territoris Oblidats trabaja la sostenibilidad y la accesibilidad urbana. Quiere repensar el diseño urbano para el uso de las personas. Su web presenta experiencias de áreas en desuso en Barcelona, a través de este formulario se puede anadir nuevos territorisos. La web y el backend del mapa estan basada en WordPress, el mapa utiliza Leaflet.js.
On December 1st we presented crimenesdeodio.info, a memory of 25 years of oblivion. It’s the result of a year long research into deaths caused by hate crimes in Spain. The websites lists 86 cases with a total amount of 88 homicides categorized as Homophobia, Ideological hatred, Islamophobia, Racism and xenophobia, Violence ultra football, Antisemitism, Misogyny, etc.
We run on WordPress and developed three plugins and a child theme which are available as free software. So it should be easy to set up your own website for mapping hate crimes or similar geolocated registers. (more…)
This post is about how to pre-fill some fields when opening the Add new posts form (/wp-admin/post-new.php). It’s straight forward for some fields like title and post type but more difficult for other fields. El siguiente material es de cuatro sesiones que dí dentro del Postgrado de Diseño Digital y Multimedia: Web e Internet 2.0 en IDEP de Barcelona.
Linz Pflückt shows more than 2000 public fruit trees in the city of Linz. The basic data comes from the open data portal which was launched as part of the Open Commons Region Linz. The dataset contains information on species, genus, tree height, etc. which we extended with information such as maturity and fruit category.
The fruits of the trees are freely available public domain, which may be picked and eaten by every person! Look at the trees and enjoy the taste of the fruits!
You as fruit fan are invited to evaluate the fruits, comment on the trees and to enrich them with photos. With your submissions, the project is gaining usability and usefulness.
Linz Pflückt is also available as app for Android devices. Owners of other phones can use the mobile version of the website.
The project was built using free software frameworks as OpenStreetMaps, leafletjs and WordPress.
Últimamente estuve montando algunas páginas web basadas en WordPress. Con la publicación de la rama 3, WordPress mejoró mucho la base del código y para proyectos sencillos prefiere este CMS a otros más potentes como Drupal.

YProducciones sigue con su proyecto redada, la última hicieron en Murcia bajo el nombre de Capital Reactiva. Utilicé el fantástico Pods CMS para añadir un backoffice al grafo de agentes culturales independientes.
Hace poco mostré como utilizar OpenStreetMap a través de la librería de JavaScript Openlayers. Ahora miramos como incrustarlo dentro de gestores de contenidos como Drupal y WordPress.
En este módulo del postgrado de Web e Internet 2.0 enseñaré el uso de PHP y MySQL para la creación de una web. Mostraré la configuración básica de WordPress, la creación de un tema propio y adaptaremos este popular sistema de publicación para crear un portal flexible y estético.
